Educational Visit to the Centre of the Cell

[TechBloq Students – Years 3-4 & Years 4-6 Girls]

This half-term, our Year 3-4 and Years 4-6 girls will take part in a fascinating full-day visit to the Centre of the Cell, an award-winning science education centre in London.

As part of their STEAM topic on the Human Body and Microbes, students will step inside real science laboratories to explore:

• How the human body works
• The process of digestion
• The microscopic world of cells, bacteria and viruses

Through interactive workshops, real-world experiments and engaging activities, this visit brings classroom learning to life – sparking curiosity, confidence and a deeper understanding of how science connects to everyday life.

The trip will take place during the school day (8am-3pm) and will be fully supervised by TechBloq staff.

A fee of £10 per student (or £8 each for families with 2-3 siblings attending) will cover the cost of the workshops.

This consent form is only for existing TechBloq students in the Year 3-4 class & Year 4-6 girls’ classes. If your child does not currently attend TechBloq or is not in one of these classes, please do not complete this form. Any payments made in error will be refunded, but please note a processing fee will be deducted.
