[TechBloq Students – Years 1 & 2]
Years 1 & 2 – Educational Visit to Stepney City Farm
This half-term, our Years 1 & 2 students will be heading out on an exciting educational visit to Stepney City Farm as part of their Animals and Habitats STEAM topic.
This special outing will give children the opportunity to:
-
Explore a real working city farm
-
Meet and learn about a range of farm animals
-
Discover how plants and animals grow, live, and interact
-
Connect their classroom learning to the real world through hands-on experiences
The visit is free of charge and will be a full educational day with TechBloq staff supervising throughout.
As this is an outdoor visit, the trip is weather dependent.
We will confirm the final outing date approximately 5–7 days before the visit, once the weather forecast is more reliable.
What to Wear
As this is a working farm and the visit will take place outdoors, please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the day:
-
A warm, waterproof coat in case of rain
-
Wellies or sturdy boots suitable for muddy or uneven ground
-
Hat, gloves or extra layers if the weather is cold
-
A small backpack for their lunch and water bottle
Children should come dressed for comfort and ready for adventure!
