Weekend Maths & Science Tutor (UKS2-KS4)

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Maths and Science Tutor to provide weekend tuition support for UKS2-KS4 students. This role is ideal for a dedicated educator who can help students build confidence, strengthen their understanding and develop key problem-solving skills in both subjects outside of school. Sessions are conducted in person at TechBloq.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and structured tuition sessions in Mathematics and Science (KS3-KS4) and Maths Years 5-6.
• Support students with school curriculum topics, reinforcing classroom learning.
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles and abilities.
• Provide exam preparation, revision techniques and problem-solving strategies when required.
• Track student progress and offer constructive feedback to students.
• Create a supportive and motivating learning environment.

Ideal Candidate:

• Hold a degree in Mathematics, Science or a related subject (teaching experience with QTS preferred).
• Experience tutoring KS2 Maths and KS3-KS4 students in Maths and Science.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Passionate about education and committed to student success.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
