LEARNERS WE SUPPORT

Let friends and family know about TechBloq

Minimum Enrolment Age

Due to our Ofsted registration requirements, we are only permitted to enrol children who are 5 years old or above. This means your child must turn 5 by 31st August in order to join us in the upcoming academic year.

For example: if your child turns 5 between 1st September 2025 and 31st August 2026, they are eligible to join us from September 2026.

Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)

We strive to be as inclusive as possible, and welcome children with mild to moderate additional needs. However, we are a small team with limited resources and may not be the right setting for children with significant or complex SEND requirements that require specialist one-to-one support, medical care, or high-level behavioural support.

If you’re unsure whether our environment is suitable for your child, we’re happy to have an open and honest conversation before you register.

For Home Education Support Sessions

We welcome girls and boys aged 5 to 14 who are home educated and ready to thrive in a hands-on, nurturing learning environment.

  • For home educators, we support both:
    • Families who have home educated from the beginning, and
    • Families who have recently withdrawn their child from school to seek a more flexible, child-centred approach.

Whether your child is just beginning their home education journey or has already been learning at home for years, our sessions are designed to support their growth, confidence and creativity at a pace that’s right for them.

For Tuition Sessions

At Tech Bloq, we offer tuition support for school-attending learners aged 5 to 16. Our sessions are designed to complement what your child is learning in school – helping them build confidence, close learning gaps, and deepen their understanding in a calm, focused environment.

We welcome:

  • Primary learners (ages 5–11) who need extra support or challenge in Maths and English

  • Secondary students (ages 11–16) preparing for Key Stage 3 or working towards their Maths, English and Science GCSEs

  • Children who are doing well academically but need support with confidence, problem-solving or independent study

  • Learners who benefit from a quieter, more structured space to revise and revisit concepts at their own pace

  • Families who want a more thoughtful approach than traditional tutoring – one that prioritises long-term progress over quick fixes

Our sessions are carefully structured, but still personalised. Whether your child is catching up, keeping up or looking to move ahead, we’re here to support them – not just as students, but as learners with potential, goals and individual needs.
