Support and guidance for school-attending children
Not every child finds it easy to keep up in a class of 30 students – but with the right support, they can gain confidence and excel.
Our experienced and friendly teachers provide personalised, small-group sessions designed to help children overcome challenges, reinforce their learning, and reach their full potential.
With an average of just 10 students per class, our sessions are tailored to meet individual needs, including:
- Homework Help – Our tutors guide students through their schoolwork, ensuring they understand key concepts and complete assignments with confidence.
- Extra Support – We reinforce classroom learning by using engaging techniques that cater to different learning styles, helping students grasp difficult topics and build self-assurance.
- Advanced Learning – For high-achieving students, we provide stimulating challenges, projects, and advanced topics to stretch their abilities and deepen their knowledge.
These educational childcare provisions are available on weekends and weekday evenings, grouped by school year to ensure age-appropriate learning.

Home Education Support Classes
Your child will be placed in a dedicated circle of like-minded home-schooled students in order to provide them with a socially interactive learning environment. TechBloq aims to provide a structural routine to home education by setting regular homework and covering topics in a systematic programme as done in the National Curriculum. This is to ensure that students are up to par with relevant syllabus material.
We also hope to assist the main instigators of home learning development: the parents. We will be adding more information, research, and practical tips for home educators to our website. Parents of enrolled students will also be able to arrange consultation visits with their child’s teacher to discuss their child’s progress, understand the requirements of the curriculum and any updates to it and access helpful techniques to enhance learning at home and improve educational outcomes.
OTHER TYPES OF CLASSES AVAILABLE AT TECHBLOQ:
TechBloq’s interactive STEAM workshops offer home-educated children an engaging way to experience the world of technology, science, engineering, art and mathematics. Designed for hands-on learning, these standalone weekly workshops allow children to explore focussed science and computing topics over 3-4 weeks, fostering their creativity and problem-solving skills.
Each workshop provides an opportunity for children to engage in projects that are both educational and fun, tailored to complement their homeschooling experience.
These workshops are ideal for students looking to dive deeper into STEAM subjects while enjoying a collaborative, tech-rich environment.
Project-based learning brings education to life by connecting subject content to real-world challenges, making learning more meaningful and engaging. Commonly used in our home education support classes, this approach allows students to explore topics in a flexible, hands-on way that sparks curiosity and deepens understanding.
By weaving multiple subjects into a single project, students not only cover key curriculum topics but also discover how they apply to everyday life. More than just preparing for exams, this method nurtures critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity – empowering students to analyze, question and apply their knowledge in a way that goes beyond rote memorisation.
These small-group sessions are designed to be interactive and engaging, using our smart screens and peer collaboration to enhance learning. We tailor each session to support students at different points in the academic year—whether they’re preparing for mock exams, final exams, subject boosters, or exam techniques.
Our goal is to help students become independent learners who can set their own academic goals and stay motivated to achieve them. At TechBloq, they’ll develop the skills and confidence to take charge of their own learning.
