Educational Visit – London Zoo

London Zoo

We’re excited to be organising an educational trip to London Zoo as part of our enrichment programme. This visit will support children’s learning in science, particularly around animals, habitats and conservation.

What We Will Do During the Visit
  • Explore a wide variety of animal species and their habitats
  • Learn about classification and conservation
  • Take part in observation and discussion activities

This is an incredible opportunity to take classroom learning beyond the centre and into a world-class setting – encouraging independent thinking, scientific inquiry and a love of learning.

Entry Fee

£16.50 per student 
(Please ensure payment is made by Monday April 27th)

Trip Details

  • Date: Tuesday May 5th

  • Venue: London Zoo, Regent’s Park

  • Travel: Walk to Plaistow Station, taking the Tube to Baker Street Station, then walking to London Zoo

  • Times: Student arrival at TechBloq: 8:00am; departure for Plaistow Station: 9:15am. Return to TechBloq by: 2:30pm, collection at 3pm

What Children Need to Bring

  • Comfortable clothing and footwear

  • Packed lunch and water bottle in small backpack

  • Any essential medication (clearly labelled)

Permission & Attendance

We require all parents to complete the permission form below so that we can finalise numbers and confirm staffing and safety arrangements.

Deadline for form submission: Monday 27th April

We hope that all students will be able to attend, as this trip forms an important and engaging part of their learning this term.
Please note that students who are not attending the trip will not have a lesson at TechBloq on the trip day, as staff will be accompanying the group.

Important: This consent form is only for existing TechBloq students in the Years 1 & 2 + Years 3-4 classes. If your child does not currently attend TechBloq or is not in this class, please do not complete this form. Any payments made in error will be refunded, but please note a processing fee will be deducted.
