Years 4-5 & 5-6 Boys – Educational Visit to Mudchute Park and Farm

This half-term, our Years 4-6 boys’ classes will be heading out on an educational visit to Mudchute Park & Farm as part of their Chicks and their Habitat STEAM topic.

During the visit, students will:

  • Explore how a working urban farm operates
  • Observe and compare different animal habitats
  • Learn how animals grow, feed and are cared for
  • Make connections between their classroom learning and real-life environments
  • Develop curiosity through observation and questioning in a hands-on setting
Why this visit matters

This trip is designed to deepen students’ understanding of animal life cycles, habitats and environmental variation, while also encouraging independence, responsibility and respectful behaviour in a public learning space.

The visit is free of charge.
