Referral Drive (Pilot)

Trial period: February – April

Referral rewards applied to April to June invoices

Help us welcome like-minded families into our learning community and receive a thank-you on your fees when they stay.

Our centre has grown almost entirely through word-of-mouth: families telling other families about a learning environment that feels supportive and genuinely child-centred. This term, we’re trialling a short-term referral drive to gently welcome more like-minded families into our community, while thanking our long-standing families for the trust and care they show in recommending us. This pilot is time-limited, carefully managed and designed to support steady, long-term growth without changing the way we work.

Pilot timeframe (important)

This referral drive is a short-term pilot and will run until April 30th, 2026.

This means:

  • Referrals made in February to April qualify

  • Referral rewards will be applied to April and/or May, June invoices, once conditions are met

  • No new referrals will be accepted after April 30th. We will then review and decide if referral rewards can continue during the remaining summer term (May-July).

How it works (with dates)

1) Refer a family (February – April)

Request your personal referral code and share it with a family you genuinely believe would benefit from our centre.

2) New family enrols

Your referred family enrols using your referral code and begins attending.

3) New family welcome discount (Month 1)

They receive: 10% off their first month OR £25 off (whichever is greater, max £50)

4) Referral completes 2 paid months

Once the referred family completes two full paid months, your referral becomes “successful”.

5) Your fee discount is applied (April, May or June)

You receive 10% off your fees for each successful referral, applied to one invoice, subject to the monthly cap.

If you know a family who would genuinely benefit from our supportive, small-group approach, we’d love your help spreading the word.

To refer a family, simply ask them to state your personal referral code when they enquire with us. If they submit an application form with us, please ask them to select ‘Word of Mouth’ under the query ‘Please select how you heard about TechBloq’ and type in your referral code in the box that appears.

We’ll confirm the referral with you before linking it, so everything stays clear and fair.

Referral rewards can’t be applied if a referral is mentioned after booking or payment.

This helps us:

Simply contact us by email or message and we’ll provide your unique referral code, along with guidance on how to share it.

Referral codes themselves should not be posted publicly.

However, you are very welcome to:

  • share our flyers or website

  • talk about your experience on social media

  • recommend us in home education or local groups

If someone contacts us because of your post, you can then share your referral code with them privately so it can be applied correctly.

Unfortunately, we can’t apply referral rewards if the code isn’t provided before booking or payment.

To keep the scheme fair for everyone, referral codes cannot be added retrospectively.

The referred family can only use one referral code.

The first valid code submitted at enquiry is the one that will be recorded.

1. Purpose of the Pilot

This referral drive is a time-limited pilot designed to thank long-standing families who help introduce new families to our centre, while supporting careful, values-led growth that protects learning quality, group balance, and long-term retention.

2. Definitions

  • Referring family: an existing family who introduces a new family to the centre.

  • Referred family: a new family who enrols as a result of that introduction.

  • Household: a single family unit, regardless of the number of children enrolled.

  • Successful referral: a referral that meets all eligibility, attendance, payment, and timing conditions set out below.

3. Pilot Period

  • The referral drive runs from February until April 30th 2026.

  • Referrals must be declared and verified before April 30th to be eligible.

  • Only referrals where the referred family commences paid enrolment during the pilot period will qualify.

  • No referrals will be accepted after this date until we have reviewed this pilot.

Referral month definition:
For the purposes of this pilot, the referral month is determined by the month in which the referred family commences paid enrolment (i.e. their first paid invoice period), provided the referring family was named at initial enquiry before booking or payment.

4. Referral Identification (No Codes)

  • Referrals are recorded using the name of the referring family.

  • The referred family must clearly name the referrer at the point of initial enquiry, before booking or payment.

  • Referrals cannot be added retrospectively.

  • All referrals are subject to verification by us before enrolment is confirmed.

Referral month definition:

For the purposes of this pilot, the referral month is determined by the month in which the referred family commences paid enrolment (i.e. their first paid invoice period), provided the referring family was named at initial enquiry before booking or payment.

5. Eligibility – Referring Families

To qualify for a referral reward, the referring family must:

  1. Have been enrolled with the centre for at least 12 consecutive months at the time of referral.

  2. Be actively enrolled at the time the referral reward is applied.

  3. For tuition families, be enrolled for a minimum of 2 hours per week at the time the referral reward is applied.

  4. All referrals are subject to verification by us before enrolment is confirmed.

6. Eligibility – Referred Families

To qualify as a successful referral, the referred family must:

  1. Be new to the centre and not have attended, trialled, or been enrolled within the previous 12 months.

  2. Declare the referring family’s name before booking or payment.

  3. Enrol for a minimum of 3 hours per week for home education sessions.

  4. Complete and pay for two consecutive full billing months, excluding any partial or pro-rated months.

  5. Maintain the minimum enrolment throughout the qualifying period.

  6. Remain suitable for placement within our groups.

7. New Family Welcome Discount

  • New families receive 10% off their first month’s fees OR £25 off, whichever is greater, up to a maximum of £50.

  • This discount:

    • applies once, to the first invoice only,

    • has no cash value, and

    • cannot be combined with other promotional discounts on the same invoice.

    • This welcome discount does not apply to STEAM workshops.

8. Referrer Discount (Nature & Timing)

  • For each successful referral, the referring family receives 10% off one invoice.

  • Referral rewards are applied as follows:

    • February referrals → April invoice

    • March referrals → May invoice

      April referrals → June invoice

  • Referral rewards:

    • are fee discounts only,

    • have no monetary or cash value,

    • are non-transferable, and

    • cannot be refunded, exchanged, or deferred.

Referral rewards apply only where both families remain actively enrolled at the time the discount is applied. If a referring family deregisters before the relevant discount month, the referral reward is forfeited.

9. Caps and Limits

To ensure fairness and sustainability:

  1. The maximum referral discount that can be applied to any single invoice is 30%.

  2. Each family may receive rewards for a maximum of 3 successful referrals per calendar month during the pilot.

  3. Referral discounts earned in different months apply to separate invoices and cannot be combined onto a single invoice.

  4. Referral discounts cannot be applied to STEAM workshops or standalone workshops of any kind.

10. Payments and Account Status

  • All invoices must be paid in full and on time.

  • If the referred family’s payments are late, the referral reward is delayed until all qualifying conditions are met.

  • Referral rewards will not be applied to accounts with outstanding balances.

11. Fair Use & Referral Integrity

  1. Families are encouraged to publicly support and promote the centre, including sharing flyers, website links, or personal recommendations.

  2. Public promotion alone does not constitute a referral unless:

    • a new family enrols, and

    • clearly names the referring family at enquiry, and

    • the referral is verified by us before enrolment.

  3. Referral rewards are not automatic and are applied only where a clear, named referral relationship can be reasonably established.

  4. We reserve the right to decline or withdraw referral rewards where:

    • a referral is declared after booking or payment,

    • multiple referrers are named and cannot be fairly resolved,

    • the referral appears misleading, opportunistic, or inconsistent with the intent of the pilot, or

    • the referral method undermines fairness, group balance, or the learning environment.

  5. This referral pilot must not be used as a substitute for advertising, resale, lead generation, or commission-based promotion.

12. One Referrer Per Household

  • Each referred household may be linked to one referring family only.

  • If multiple names are mentioned, the referred family must nominate one referrer.

  • Once recorded and verified, the referrer cannot be changed.

13. Availability & Suitability

  • All enrolments remain subject to availability and suitability.

  • Participation in the referral pilot does not guarantee a place.

14. Exclusions

Referral discounts do not apply to STEAM workshops, holiday workshops, one-off events, or any non-weekly provision.

Referral benefits apply only to ongoing Home Education Support or Tuition enrolments.

15. Changes to or End of the Pilot

  • We reserve the right to amend or end the referral pilot at any time.

  • Any referral rewards already earned (where all qualifying conditions have been met) will be honoured in line with these Terms & Conditions.

16. Final Decision

In all matters relating to the referral pilot, our decision is final.
