STEAM WORKSHOPS

Summer 2026 Project:

Inventors’ Lab – Ultimate DIY Speaker Challenge

Hands-on tech. Real-world science. Learning that sticks.

Weekly on Wednesdays | 8:00-11:00am | June 17th – July 22nd 2026

Missed the earlier sessions? No problem, students can still join from now and will be supported to settle in smoothly.

For students joining part-way, fees are calculated weekly and applied on the payment form every Thursday. You’ll only be charged for the remaining sessions.

About

Our students are diving deep into the world of audio engineering! This term they’re building the hardware that brings sound to life.

From designing custom, laser-cut acoustic enclosures to mastering modern circuit design, our young engineers are blending art and technology to build high-performance, custom Bluetooth speakers from the ground up.

What they’re learning
  • Electronic Systems & Power Management

  • CAD Modeling for Custom Enclosures

  • Acoustic Engineering Principles

  • Precision Soldering & Circuit Integration

  • Building the change they want to see, one custom speaker at a time

They won’t just be “learning”… they’ll be thinking, building, testing and improving. Just like real engineers and designers.

Along the way, they’ll:

  • Solve meaningful, real-life problems
  • Get creative with design and technology
  • Build and test their own ideas
  • Learn to adapt, improve, and think differently

It’s purposeful, practical, and genuinely exciting.

Sessions run weekly on Wednesdays from 8:00-11:00am and are taught by an experienced science teacher. This structure creates a calm, focused environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, collaborating with peers and trying new things. Many families find this approach especially supportive for confidence, engagement and independence in STEAM learning.

Why choose this workshop
  • In-person, hands-on STEAM (not online or theory-only)

  • Real technology and tools students don’t usually access at home

  • Collaborative teamwork in a small, focused group

  • Learning that feels purposeful, engaging and genuinely fun

Why parents love this project

It’s meaningful, memorable, and genuinely different. Students don’t just make something, they create with intention. They leave feeling proud of what they’ve built and who they’ve helped.

Places are limited to keep groups small and hands-on.

If your child thrives when learning is active, purposeful and fun, this is not one to miss.
